Some days are more challenging than others. If you’ve ever had one of those more challenging days… or if today was one of those days, then you need to know this… you’re not alone.
I can say that with confidence because Hebrews 4:15 tells us that Jesus came and lived as a human being, going through all the ups and downs we face. He knows what you’re going through. He gets the emotions… the feelings… the questions… the hurts. He can sympathize. He understands. That’s because He’s been there and done that.
And that’s a pretty good thing to know because the one thing the Devil wants to make you think is that you are alone… that you’re the only one who’s ever had to deal with this or face that… that no one else understands. He lies. In fact, his nickname is the father of lies. When he tries to make you feel isolated in your frustration or hurt, he’s just doing what he always does… lying.
You’re not alone. Someone knows, understands, cares, and wants to help. That Someone is Jesus. Just ask, and He’ll be right there with you.
