Do You

Twice already this week, I have had the privilege of living in my purpose.  Both were facing challenges.  One was facing some very serious life decisions.  The other just needed a little nudge in the right direction from a real friend to get back on track.

Now, for those of you who are regular readers of the blog, you already now that my life purpose is to “love and encourage people, offering them grace and hope.”  And that’s exactly what I had the privilege of doing… at least twice already this week.

It feels so great to do what you’re designed and created to do.  In fact, I’d like to suggest that if you will live in your God-given purpose, you will never live unfulfilled.  All of us have the opportunities in life to feel like life is… up in the air… unsure… unclear… ambiguous.  Yet, when we know what we are wired for, and live in that purpose, we don’t need a job… or a title… or a role to feel fulfilled.
When being questioned by Pilate, Jesus was able to tell him exactly why He was born and brought into this world.  Could you state your life purpose in one sentence?  How about in eight words or less?  Go ahead, give it a shot.  Not sure?  Then take some time this week to pray about and focus on why God put you on this planet.  Discover that and do it with His help and power… and you will always be able to find fulfillment.

Now, if you’ll excuse me… I need to go live in my purpose.
