Today I am thankful for all those who have partnered with us in ministry over the past twelve and a half years. And I am determined not to allow the quote above to resemble my life. I fully intend to let people know how much I value them and appreciate them.
Too Many To Name
I almost started to begin listing the names of all those I could remember who have helped us. But there are too many to name. I’m well aware that there are even people who have served with us whom I never knew helped us. They silently served with a generous heart to help us succeed.
For example, you know you need help when you’ve got five carts of stuff to buy at Sam’s for an event. And once again, our friends in ministry rushed to our assistance. By tomorrow, at our final event in our current role, the number of those serving alongside us will swell to well over 100.
I get it… No one accomplishes anything great by themselves. And so today, I say a massive thank you to all those who have ever… worked behind the scenes… shown up early to set up… stayed late to help clean up… washed dishes… hauled trash… led worship… watched over students… preached a message… printed t-shirts… designed a stage set-up… fixed a tech problem… encouraged others to participate… put together a mail-out… cooked a meal… delivered supplies…
… well, you get the picture.
One More Request For Help
Would you do me a favor? I need to request help one more time. If you’re reading this on social media, would you please tag someone you know has helped us over the last twelve and a half years as a small way of letting them know how much we appreciate them?
Thanks!
